Wiring the astrodome
Zach Casper is working with Technology for All to wire the Houston Astrodome with free computers and internet access for the people who have been displaced by Katrina. He has created a photoset up on Flickr of pictures from inside the Astrodome, and is documenting his experiences on his blog.
Kudos to SBC who has provided 1,000 phone lines and 30 DSL lines for the people currently calling this place home.
